Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Research Assistant to support the Research Unit in conducting clinical trials. You will collect and process clinical data and provide administrative support to the Research Team.

The role requires standing, frequent movement, and regular on-site attendance, with travel to MAR locations as needed. The position supports trial recruitment, data handling, and regulatory submissions, working closely with physicians and fellows to advance research projects.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical research experience or ophthalmic experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Research Coordinator with conduction of clinical trials and patient flow.
• Accurately collect clinical data on research patients and maintain/update database records.
• Assist in monitor preparation and follow up on actions and queries.
• Assist in trial recruitment through chart reviews and physician communication.
