Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to support ophthalmologists during patient exams and testing. You will help prepare patients, perform initial screenings, and assist with procedures to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year in ophthalmic care or equivalent training, plus knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED.
• One year of experience in an ophthalmic setting providing direct patient care OR additional formal training in Ophthalmology.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and prepare patients for examination or treatment.
• Perform initial patient examinations, ophthalmic testing procedures and routine screening tests.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Document patient information in their medical record.
• Perform clerical, stocking, maintenance and related duties.
