Job summary

Select Water Solutions is seeking a Yard Operator for the night shift. This full-time role monitors grounds to prevent loss, stages deliveries, and handles yard packaging under safety policies and regulations.

You will greet visitors, conduct site patrols, report incidents, maintain facility cleanliness, and help strengthen a safety culture. Candidates should perform warehouse duties and adapt to varying weather and long shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions from truck driver or other personnel.
• Willingness and ability to work in all types of weather and conditions.
• Must be physically capable of carrying out duties safely.
• Must be able to work variable schedules/shifts and long hours.
• Experience performing warehouse duties, including receiving shipments and organizing storage.
• Understands container labeling and product hazards.

Responsibilities

• Monitors entrances and exits to prevent unapproved access.
• Patrols site on foot or by vehicle.
• Greets visitors, issues temporary IDs, and maintains a visitors log.
• Observes and reports incidents to client representatives or safety staff.
• Performs routine facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Demonstrates safety leadership and promotes a safety culture.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Select Chemistry’s Yard Operator will monitor company grounds to prevent theft, violence, or other loss of company property. The operator will also be responsible for staging deliveries, packaging product in the yard, inspections and general duties in accordance with safety policies, procedures and governmental regulations.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

• Monitors entrances and exits preventing unapproved or unlawful entry.
• Patrols site on foot or in vehicles.
• Greets and directs visitors, provides temporary visitor IDs, and maintains a visitors log.
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, life/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the post.
• Routine facility maintenance activities.
• Perform general housekeeping actions to maintain facility integrity.
• Demonstrate strong safety leadership skills and be able to lead, coach and promote a safety culture that aligns with company.
• Special duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Exposures

• Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
