Faber-Castell Cosmetics in Elgin, IL is seeking an Operator Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts. The role involves operating production equipment, stamping, and packaging in a clean room environment, while maintaining safety, quality, and line KPIs.

You will perform routine in-process quality checks, troubleshoot equipment, and perform autonomous maintenance to maximize uptime. A minimum of five years hands-on manufacturing experience and ability to follow written processes are required.

Work on machines that produce our cosmetic pencils, stamps them, and/or packages them (clean room environment). Ensure equipment is maintained properly and handle any troubleshooting. Your attention to detail will be useful while conducting in-process quality checks you will take the necessary actions on non-compliance pieces. Use your problem-solving abilities to determine the root cause.
