Maintenance Associate – Santa Fe Springs, Hiring Immediately

Compensation

• Competitive starting pay range of $22.73 - $30.68 per hour, paid weekly

Available Shift

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 1:00 PM (12‑hour shift)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (8‑hour shift)
• Monday‑Friday

Position Overview

This role is responsible for the repair of all equipment related to plant operations and facilities, returning them to OEM specifications. The incumbent works closely with the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Engineering Manager, and other maintenance team members to provide preventive maintenance, support production goals, ensure a safe work environment, and meet customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and maintain all production machines and plant facility mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures, including pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions, and perform repairs or replacements.
• Use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and testing instruments to ensure equipment installation and alignment are within OEM specifications.
• Read and understand mechanical prints and technical diagrams for installation and repair tasks.
• Complete oil and lube cycles on all equipment at manufacturer‑recommended intervals.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Perform related tasks such as equipment tooling, changeovers, and startup as required.
• Document all work in Maintenance Connection, including work requests and preventive maintenance records.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
• Use hands and arms to handle tools, operate machinery, and perform maintenance tasks with precision.
• Work comfortably in hot, cold, wet, dusty, or noisy conditions.
• Have visual acuity to read technical documents and safety warnings.
• Respond to auditory signals, alarms, and verbal instructions.

Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
