Job summary

Kemira in Washougal, WA seeks a dependable Bulk Material Handler to support manufacturing by moving, storing, and supplying bulk materials and finished products. You will operate material handling equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate deliveries with third-party carriers.

This role requires attention to safety, ability to work independently or in a team, and readiness to OT on weekends. CDL is a plus, no mandatory; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks, railcars, storage tanks, and trailers.
  • Safely transport raw materials and finished products.
  • Move and stage trailers with a semi truck.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability for production.
  • Coordinate shipment schedules with third-party carriers.
  • Perform inventory, billing, and material transactions accurately.
  • Support inventory counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Call-outs (overtime) on weekends are a regular occurrence.

Position Summary

Bulk Material Handler

Kemira is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Bulk Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by moving, storing, and supplying bulk raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. This role is responsible for operating material handling equipment, including a semi with tankers, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and coordinating deliveries with third-party carriers.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures.

Load and unload trucks, railcars, storage tanks, and trailers.

Safely transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.

Move and stage trailers within the plant using asemi truck.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipmentas needed.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability for production.

Coordinate shipment schedules with third-party carriers.

Perform inventory, billing,and material transactions accurately.

Support inventory counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Call-outs (overtime) on weekends are a regular occurrence.

The starting base range for this role is between $29.65 to $36.01 per year. Salary ranges may vary depending on location and local market conditions. The actual starting salary will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, and wider business and organizational needs.
