Summary: The Operator - Lead is responsible for supporting and coordinating day-to-day management of operators and relief operators, ensuring safe work practices, ensuring quality products, and controlling inventory within assigned area. This includes driving the output and activities of the assigned cells and work areas as well as other priorities as set forth by the Injection Molding Supervisor.
This position reports directly to and will receive directions from the Injection Molding Assistant Supervisor. The primary responsibility of an Operator - Lead is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties daily which include (but are not limited to) the following:
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend English to follow work instructions.
Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills and counting ability required.

Must be able to operate a pallet jack and remove full pallets from the barcode area to the finished goods warehouse. Good hand and eye coordination for working on parts labeling. Ability to walk and/or stand for an eight-hour period at a time. Equipment used - pallet jacks, knives, tape guns, barcode applicator machine, label printers, barcode scanners and verifiers.
