Job Summary

The Nano Room Operator is responsible for weighing ingredients per written SOP for the Effingham Premix operation.

Job Description

  • Weigh up the materials listed as shown on the computer prompter

  • Verify that the components and amounts are correct when batch is completed

  • Ensure that the micro tubs are marked with the correct identification placards

  • Responsible for completing Movement Sheets to request material needed in the micro room and nano room.

  • Gather materials in the warehouse to replenish stock in the nano room occasionally.

  • Check scale weights at the beginning and end of each shift

  • Conduct inventory on specific ingredients each day

  • Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and complete all listed housekeeping duties

  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Procedures and quality policies

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent

  • Detailed oriented and has proven computer proficiency

  • Basic math and reading skills

  • Must have proficiency in all areas of the micro room

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
