Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Operator to support injection molding production at our facility. The role involves visually monitoring the molding process, removing parts, and performing defect inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry totes and boxes, pack finished product, and apply correct shipping labels.
• Verify line clearances and maintain applicable documentation at the machine.
• Change materials at the machine and stock daily supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Follow FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements; read and understand company policies and procedures.
• Support safety and quality programs and participate in ongoing improvements.

Operator Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of the Operator positions which includes but not limited to:
  • Visually monitor the molding process to insure proper procedure, remove molded parts from injection molding machines and perform gross defect inspections on parts and packaging to insure they meet specifications.
  • Lift and carry totes and boxes, pack finished product in boxes in accordance with either weight or count and affix the correct shipping label to the box.
• Verify line clearances and applicable documentation at assigned machine.
• Ability to change materials at the machine (bags, daily supplies, etc.) and stocking materials.
• Employee will work in concert with the Shift Supervisor ensuring safe and efficient production.
• Employee will read, comprehend, and maintain the operating policies and procedures of the Company as well as the requirements specified by FDA, OSHA, and other governmental agencies.
• Employee will read and comprehend specifications, blueprints, instructions, and written procedures.
• Supports all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.

The hourly pay range for this role is $17.12 - $30.82. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
