Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator I, Production (Para-Professional & Support Path) to set up and run manufacturing machinery, assemble and package in-process product, and monitor quality against specs and schedules. This role emphasizes hands-on operation, routine tasks after training, and collaboration with the team to meet production goals.

The position requires a High School Diploma and fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing equipment, processes, and output quality.
• Identify and discard or re-manufacture product that does not meet requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly and production records for manufacturing performance analysis.
• Develop foundational manufacturing skills through training and practical experience.
• Work independently on routine tasks after completing required training.
• Seek guidance and elevate appropriately when handling non-routine issues.

The Operator I, Production (Para-Professional & Support Path) is primarily responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery and equipment to install, assemble, and package in-process product in line with product specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
