Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. This Production Operator role on the second shift supports manufacturing, packaging and line operations at the South Brunswick, USA site.

You will handle equipment, measure materials, and ensure a safe, sanitary workspace while meeting batch production targets and quality standards. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • SAP knowledge and forklift training preferred.
  • Weekend work may be required to meet customer orders.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and weigh ingredients accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture batches accurately and on time.
  • Operate pressure kettles, mix tanks, pumps and associated equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area and ensure equipment is cleaned and functional.
  • Collaborate with team to meet production targets and quality standards.

As Production Operator you will operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. This position is located in South Brunswick USA for SECOND SHIFT.

Where You’ll Make a Difference
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely manufacture of batches.
  • Accurately measure all required materials, correctly add, and effectively operate all pressure kettles and mix tanks, including, but not limited to: scales, pumps, tanks and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area by ensuring the department and allequipment are cleaned and kept in good working order.
What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, effectively working with other members of the department.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work on weekends when needed to complete customer ordersthat arescheduled.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs without difficulty.
  • Ability to weigh ingredients accurately utilizing tools such as floor scale and flow meter.
  • Ability to learn quickly and highlight process improvements.
  • Capable of wearing full-face respirator when required for handling of specific materials.
How Would You Stand Out?
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Candidate should be computer literate, with the ability to navigate between different windows and transactions.
  • S.A.P. knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • Forklift trained is preferred.
