Westlake Chemical in Lake Wales, FL, is seeking a Machine Operator I to support production under supervision. You will perform water treatment, tile inspection, strapping, kiln exit checks, and packaging tasks, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
The role requires reading and following simple instructions, 6 months to 1 year of color or tile manufacturing experience, and preferred forklift experience. Equal opportunity employer and team environment.
The Machine Operator I under the supervision of the Production Supervisor may perform any of the jobs listed below.
Basic mathematical skills (i.e. ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
Able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, required. 6 months to 1 year of color or tile manufacturing experience required. 6 months Forklift driving experience desired
The employee should possess the ability to: Complete repetitive movements such as typing Complete repetitive movements Must be able to work independently Work in a fast-paced environment Ability to efficiently multi task Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
