Job summary

Job Summary

This position involves working in the cleaning/passivation work center. The primary responsibility is to complete secondary operations, such as cleaning and passivation, on components following work instructions and written or verbal directions. Employees must become familiar with procedures and will receive direct supervision. This role is part of a team, and there is a strong emphasis on the ability to participate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks of simple to medium complexity related to customer-specific process requirements. Must comprehend documentation requirements.
• Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation.
• Inspect components to ensure specifications are met.
• Enter data as required.
• Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to Company policy and safe labor practices.
• Use laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources safely, considering the various wavelengths of laser light used at the Company, in accordance with personal protection policies.
• Maintain a professional and appropriate manner, ensuring a high standard of conduct and job performance.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or completion of primary school in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, particularly in medical device manufacturing.
• Experience using optical inspection equipment, such as magnifiers, microscopes, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.
