Job summary

AMMEGA seeks an entry-level Operator I to operate manufacturing equipment in Beacon, New York, on a Sunday to Friday 11pm–7am shift with overtime on weekends. You will report to the Production Supervisor as part of the Production Team and ensure safety, quality, and efficient production.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, reading process routes, and communicating issues promptly. Requires high school diploma, strong communication, and forklift experience.

Job description

As an Operator I, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment according to specifications. This is an entry level production position. The schedule for this position is Sunday - Friday 11pm to 7am with overtime required on weekends. You will report to the Production Supervisor and be part of the Production Team. This role is based in Beacon, New York.

A day in the life of an Operator I can look like

• Creating a safe work environment by ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
• Managing the production process to ensure product meets quality specifications.
• Working as a team to efficiently set up and monitor production of machines.
• Reviews production schedule and verifies expectations of the shift
• Reads and communicates Process Route Sheet to determine specific requirements of the job
• Operate machines according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintains housekeeping and organization of assigned area
• Communicates quality and safety issues to supervisor immediately
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
• Operate forklift to move material
