Job summary

Workwear Outfitters, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a production team member to operate heat seal and vinyl transfer equipment, ensuring timely orders and quality. You will train for additional tasks to support workflow and assist with garment handling, packing, and case management.

The role requires basic English, ability to stand all shift, and lifting up to 50 pounds. OT and Monday–Friday first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic communication skills including reading, speaking, and understanding English.
• Basic math skills for measuring and marking garments.
• Must read and understand option codes on Ready Service Worksheets.

Responsibilities

• Complete heat seal and vinyl transfer orders to meet shipping deadlines using heat presses.
• Train for various other jobs as needed to help with workflow.
• Rezip cases and retrieve replacement garments as needed.
• Check placements, striping, pockets and any other options on garments.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Basic communication skills to include reading, speaking, and understanding English
• Basic math skills, will be measuring and marking garments
• Must be comfortable using RES to track, correct, and update orders information
• High attention to detail and quality
• Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Must be able to read and understand option codes on Ready Service Worksheets
• Able to stand for 8 hours and work OT when necessary
• Sewing/embroidery experience is helpful but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

HOURS :

First shift: hours will be 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM , Monday thru Friday. Some daily overtime and work on Saturdays may be required, when necessary.
