Job summary

LaborNow of Massachusetts is seeking workers for production roles on the food manufacturing line, with responsibilities from filling and processing to sanitation and GMP compliance.

You will operate equipment, use touchscreens, maintain inventories, and support quality control through sample delivery.

The role requires physical work, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the flexibility to work in refrigerated environments; teamwork and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 20-50 pounds and perform physical tasks safely.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environment 38-42°F.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling, processing, and sterilizing equipment safely.

• Operation of filling, processing, sterilizing equipment safely
• Utilize computerized touchscreens with accuracy
• React and take corrective action for deviations from normal production conditions in accordance with SOPs
• Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of inventories and other required documentation
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Responsible for maintaining and replenishing production materials
• Complete general housekeeping and sanitation tasks. Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment
• Comply with all GMP and PPE guidelines and policies
• Ensure that the highest level of food safety is achieved
• Deliver product samples to Quality Control department
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Able to work within time constraints and quickly adapt to changing priorities according to business needs
• Food Manufacturing experience preferred
• Able to lift 20-50 pounds, walk, stand, bend, lift, carry, reach, twist throughout shift safely
• Able to work in refrigerated environment 38-42 degrees
• Perform basic math skills with accuracy
• Responsible, cooperative, flexible team player with good communication skills
• Able to comprehend verbal or written instructions
