King Asphalt, Inc. seeks an experienced equipment operator to safely operate rubber tire backhoe or trackhoe for grading and excavation.
Begin day by checking fluid levels, gauges, and perform routine adjustments to ensure safe, smooth operation. You will follow safety rules, assist with maintenance, and help with tasks like ditch cleaning, base material placement, pipe laying, and loading while avoiding damage to utilities and structures.
Performs duties to operate the rubber tire backhoe or trackhoe in safe and efficient manner to perform grading and excavation work.
Use of reading and writing, adding, and subtracting of whole numbers; following of instructions; use of fixed gauges. Reading instruments and similar devices where interpretation is required,
Over 1 year and up to 3 years to become familiar with the operation of the hoe to obtain desired results.
Exercise judgment to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods or practices involved in the making of minor decisions with the limitation of standard methods and procedures.
Light physical effort required to operate the levers pedals and controls on the hoe, occasional lifting or moving of lightweight materials under 25 pounds.
Salary: Depends on Experience.
