Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an entry‑level Operator to help run the production line, monitor equipment, follow safety and quality procedures, and ensure every item meets our standards.

Essential duties include loading and unloading, basic troubleshooting, measuring ingredients, completing quality checks, and keeping a clean work area while following cGMP guidelines. The role operates on the 1st shift with a 4–5 day onboarding, and pays $20.65 per hour with bonus eligibility and benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse work.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and move throughout your shift.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and inventory processes (preferred).
  • Comfortable using computers or tablets.
  • Able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Basic math and mechanical understanding.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented and dependable.
  • Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.

SHIFT/SCHEDULE:

This role operates on the 1st shift, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM.

ONBOARDING SCHEDULE:

To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5‑day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Operator, you’ll help make the world‑class products behind the brands everyone knows and loves. You’ll work with machinery, follow safety and quality procedures, and make sure everything runs smoothly on the production line. This is an entry‑level role where attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are key. No matter the task, your work helps make sure every item that leaves the line is something we’re proud of.
