Rio Tinto Borates, a global leader in industrial minerals, invites applications for an Operator D Fueler Technician at our Boron, CA site. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will support mobile maintenance by fueling and servicing equipment and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
  • Must have limited knowledge of electrical safety hazards.
  • Must have current and valid state civil driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lubricates and fuels all stationary equipment according to an established schedule and maintains daily reports of lubrication and maintenance.
  • Relocates machinery and equipment, as required, including HME.
  • Records essential information on work orders.
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections on fuel trucks.
  • Studies information on new equipment and participates in training.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties on HME such as cleaning radiators and washing HME.
  • Maintains records, tallies, and reports, as required.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.

We are looking for an Operator D Fueler Technician for our open pit mine in Boron mine.

Reporting to the Supervisor and working in an exciting and challenging role within our Mobile Maintenance department, you will be

  • Lubricates and fuels all stationary equipment according to an established schedule and maintains daily reports of lubrication and maintenance. (Generators, heaters, and any other stationary equipment that requires regular fueling)
  • Relocates machinery and equipment, as required, including HME.
  • Records essential information on work orders.
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections on fuel trucks.
  • Studies information on new equipment and participates in training.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties on HME such as cleaning radiators and washing HME.
  • Maintains records, tallies, and reports, as required.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
