Job summary

KLX Energy Services is seeking an Operator for Coil Tubing in Odessa, TX. The role performs essential duties at the service location, including rigging up the truck and crane, assisting field operations, maintaining equipment, and completing required logs and paperwork.

You will operate and maintain assigned equipment, follow safety guidelines, and participate in the installation and disassembly of equipment per manufacturer standards, ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: Less than High School; 2-4 years work experience.
• Related experience includes valid Class A license with X endorsement and clean driving record.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent and oilfield experience.

Responsibilities

• Rig up truck and crane at service location and assist with field operations.
• Operate and maintain assigned truck and equipment; complete records.
• Complete driver logs and vehicle inspection reports.
• Follow shipping practices and FMCSR regulations; verify equipment identity.
• Install/disassemble equipment per manufacturer standards; ensure safety and quality.

We are currently seekingOperators for our Coil Tubing division in Odessa, TX.

PURPOSE:

At this level, incumbent should be proficient in all essential duties and be able to perform all duties with general supervision. Operator is responsible for the safe execution of operations at the service location which may include, but is not limited to, rigging up the truck and crane (as applicable) at the service location, and assisting with all operations both in the shop and in the field. Incumbent operates and maintains the assigned truck and equipment, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties. Follows all standard shipping practices and procedures with full compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including additional transportation routing and scheduling requirements. Verifies and documents identity and quantity of all equipment.
• Provides support to crew members with operations on and off of location as directed.
• Must place ["spot"] equipment as directed by Supervisor.
• Performs operations at a customer's well location with exposure to inclement weather and confined spaces.
• May operate heavy machinery if properly certified
• Completes all job related paperwork, driver’s logs, and vehicle inspection reports
• Installation/disassembly of equipment in accordance with original manufacturer’s standards including verification of applicable certifications. Assembles, secures, and disconnects equipment. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment including diagnostics. May perform minor repairs as needed per supervision and/or liaise with technicians on otherequipment failure. Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate industry standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
