Job summary

Valgroup in Findlay, Ohio is seeking an Operator Assistant for the Print Line to join our manufacturing team. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a note that the schedule could shift in the future to a 2-2-3 pattern.

Expect a $21 hourly wage with benefits starting on day one and opportunities to learn on high-volume packaging systems. You will mount plates, take precise measurements, update system records, and assist with other projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to wear a respirator.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical ability and problem-solving.
• Safe work behaviors.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Mount plates using machine resources.
• Update and save mounting specifications on the mounting plate machine system.
• Clean plates manually when necessary.
• Use of micrometer / collecting measurements / Create graphs.
• Assist other projects and work as needed.

What you will do:

• Department: Print Line
