Job summary

WILBERT INC is seeking a general labor/machine operator role focused on assembling components along a production line. You will perform repetitive tasks at a workbench or conveyor and ensure items are packed and labeled correctly.

Expect to assist with basic equipment adjustments, routine cleaning, and minor maintenance while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. Training and close supervision are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic manufacturing or assembly work preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble minor products or components on a workbench or conveyor line.
• Check, sort, package, label, and trim items as directed.
• Perform basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance and cleaning.

Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Typical job titles include: General Labor, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer, Assembler and Line Operator.
