Job Summary:

Operate and tend various production machines, including punch presses, feed systems, cut-off saws, and deburring machines, to produce parts from metals such as steel, aluminum, copper, and other resistive materials, as well as non-metallic materials.

Job Location:

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE, one of the world's largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology, employs around 600 staff members, being one of the largest employers in the Columbus area.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform setup, run samples, and ensure inspection according to specifications.
• Operate assigned products and machinery, including manual feed presses and RH lines.
• Set up stamping lines, verify raw materials, and coordinate with die makers for setup requirements.
• Load coil stock onto de-reelers and manage die operation to ensure proper tool care.
• Use machine tools such as lathes, high-speed punch presses, cut-off saws, and de-burring equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with punch presses, pressroom terminology, equipment, and processes preferred.
• Ability to accurately identify different raw materials.
• Basic math skills and ability to compute material and product counts.
