Job description

Key Accountabilities

• Execute manufacturing process by operating designated production equipment.
• Select intermediates or raw materials, move and load them into production machines.
• Understand bill of materials and/or formula specifications to add proper quantities of materials in the proper sequence.
• Manufacture product safely and timely according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
• Accurately read control instruments and prepare neat and accurate records for all operations.
• Ensure completion of all quality test requirements to verify final product quality.
• Ensure efficient, uninterrupted production; identify and facilitate process improvements, monitor equipment, and report production information accurately and timely.
• Keep records for production, raw material deliveries, quality samples, and equipment and process performance.
• Prepare product packaging for the next step in production or for final shipment to customer according to department specifications.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of various laboratory instruments.
• Work in accordance with all relevant internal safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for housekeeping in the plant and maintaining a clean, safe and clutter‑free work environment.
• Understand significant QSHE aspects and impacts associated with work, including relevant legal and other requirements and emergency preparedness and response.
• Apply Corporate Sustainability Policy and the Integrated Management System (IMS) to continuously improve QSHE aspects of the job.

Other Requirements

• Good command of both oral and written local language.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.

Experience

• 5 years of industrial / manufacturing experience in a chemical or related field.
• Experience in a maintenance role for a manufacturing or related operation.

Knowledge and Skills

• Computer skills and laboratory experience are preferred.
• Basic chemistry knowledge preferred.
• Ability to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends, including operating facility alone on nights and weekends.
• Ability to work inside and occasionally outside, exposed to heat, cold, dirt, and noise.
