Job summary

Tate in Red Lion, PA is hiring an entry-level operator for the Ceiling Grid department. This 2nd shift role (Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm) offers hands-on learning across all equipment and processes in the ceiling grid line.

You will gain knowledge of machinery, meet production standards, and contribute to quality and safety while growing with a global manufacturer. This permanent, full-time position provides a path to career advancement within Tate.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability interface with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and have working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Ceiling Grid department.
  • Position parts and monitor operations on equipment while producing product at established production standards.
  • Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards while maintaining established production standards. Notifies appropriate personnel of issues.
  • Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
  • Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or material.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.
  • Maintain awareness of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies; report issues.

About The Role

The entry level Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in the Ceiling Grid department. In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Ceiling Grid department.

Note: This position is for 2nd Shift. Hours for this role are Monday-Friday 2pm-1030pm

What You’ll Do
  • Learn and have working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Ceiling Grid department.

  • Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Additional Expectation
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
