Position Summary
The Operator Level 1 works in our production areas and is responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently, accurately, safely, and on time. This employee is responsible for completing training to enhance understanding of tasks to be performed through our Online Learning Module (OLM) system. This position will receive substantial guidance and training in the operations of assigned department.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Manufacture dispersion products according to dedicated Work Instructions (WI) and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Including but not limited to:
- Bulk and partial dispensing of raw materials.
- Loading, processing, and packing out of products.
- Cleaning and disinfecting of suites, equipment, and work areas.
- Push, pull and transfer mobile equipment to various locations in the production area.
- Operate various equipment and instrumentation safely, according to procedures. Equipment may include, but not be limited to blenders, bead mills, grinders, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), pumps, chemical feed systems, forklifts (bulk dispense requirement only), hand trucks, and sieves.
- Adhere to all safety and quality procedures.
- Wear the appropriate level of personal protective equipment required for each manufacturing task.
- Document all batch sheet, WI, and cleaning logs information accurately using Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) quality standards.
- Stage finished products to finished product transfer point.
- Complete training on the following (where applicable):
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and policies.
- Manual and electric Pallet Jacks.
- Forklift (Bulk Dispensing requirement only).
- Identification of raw materials and storage practices.
- Daily reporting of shift work completed.
- OLM testing for production areas trained in.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year manufacturing or production experience, preferred.
- Proficient math skills, reading comprehension skills, mechanical aptitude, and dexterity.
- Ability to comprehend detailed written instructions and procedures.
- Must be able to discern colors.
- Possess the physical ability to lift and move 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 1000 lbs. repetitively.
Looking for both 1st and 2nd shift. Both shifts work a 4-day 10-hour schedule.
1st shift: Monday-Thursday 5AM to 3:30PM
2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 3PM to 1:30AM
