Job summary

Essity Dover, DE is seeking a Production Technician to operate a manufacturing line under fixed specifications and SOPs. This role involves 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) with weekends off on a rotating basis, supporting safe and efficient production while ensuring product quality.

Strong mechanical aptitude and simple maintenance skills are required, with a focus on documentation and teamwork. You will collaborate across shifts, perform change-overs, and manage raw materials while

Qualifications

• High School, Technical Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in an operator role in the manufacturing area.
• Proven experience with operating complex machinery or production equipment and understanding of the operational processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving minor technical issues with machines or equipment.
• Process optimization experience or involvement in improving production workflows or efficiency.
• Experience with safety protocols and maintenance procedures for equipment, including calibration, inspections, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Operate process & equipment efficiently.
• Carry out simple maintenance tasks including calibrations.
• Lead small change-overs on the production line.
• Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine per SOPs.
• Maintain effective communication across shifts and with stakeholders.
• Ensure quality by checking products against specifications and rejecting non-conforming items.
• Complete all required production documentation and data files.

Production Technician Operating in safety a production line for manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and standard operating procedures. As member of the shift team is responsible for the performance of the machine. The operator Intermediate has the skills to undertake the tasks needed to operate/ sustain efficiently the equipment/process.About the Role12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule: Two weeks on days (7:00 AM -7:00 PM) followed by two weeks on nights (7:00 PM-7:00 AM).
