Job summary

McPherson Hospital, Inc. seeks a Gynecologist focused on operative gynecology in the OR and in the Rural Health Clinic.

This role is gynecology-only and does not include routine obstetric duties unless specified. The ideal candidate will be a skilled gynecologic surgeon with expertise in managing complex benign conditions through surgical and office-based procedures, providing comprehensive care and contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board eligibility in OB-GYN.
• Completion of an ACGME obstetrics/gynecology residency.
• Active medical license and surgical proficiency in gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Perform gynecologic surgical procedures in the OR (hysterectomy, laparoscopy, endometriosis).
• Provide outpatient gynecologic care and procedures in the Rural Health Clinic.
• Coordinate preoperative and postoperative care with anesthesia, nursing and surgical teams.
• Document encounters and participate in quality improvement.

Skills

Board Certified or Board Eligible in O

Active state medical license

Surgical proficiency in gynecologic

DEA license (or eligibility)

Education

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

ACGME-accredited OB-GYN residency
