Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, is seeking an Operations Training Coordinator to lead trainer efforts at the Fort Dodge manufacturing site. This onsite role focuses on ensuring new hires reach competency through well-structured programs.

You will partner with operations supervisors, monitor onboarding, develop training plans, and maintain KPIs while upholding safety and quality. Candidates need a high school diploma and at least 3 years in GMP environments, plus strong IT proficiency

Your Role:

Operations Training Coordinator

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead trainer and ensure OJT trainers have the skills and resources needed to effectively train employees.
• Monitor onboarding and training progress for new employees to support timely progression to competency in their roles.
• Partner with operations supervisors and OJT trainers to develop training plans, coordinate schedules, and support curriculum development.
• Establish and maintain training KPIs to measure effectiveness and support continued workforce readiness.
• Ensure accurate completion and submission of training documentation while promoting a strong safety and quality culture.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications)

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively train others, with strong IT system proficiency.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred qualifications)

• Understanding of manufacturing technical operations.
• Knowledge of operational excellence principles and practices.
• Previous experience supporting training programs within a manufacturing or operational environment.
