Paylocity’s MD&A team is offering an Operations Technology & Innovation Intern position in San Antonio, TX. This paid in-person internship goes beyond routine tasks: you’ll work with operations, field personnel, and leaders to identify challenges, develop solutions, and implement real improvements.

You’ll help modernize training, build Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, analyze processes, and craft clear data communications for technicians and managers.

About the Opportunity

At MD&A, we believe the best improvements come from people who ask questions, challenge assumptions, and look for better ways to work. We are seeking a curious, creative, and customer-focused intern to help improve the tools, processes, and information that support our Outage Services Division.

This is not a traditional internship. You won't just complete assigned tasks. You'll work alongside operations, field personnel, and business leaders to identify challenges, develop solutions, and implement improvements that have a real impact on the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, reporting tools, or data analysis is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to solve business challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residing in the San Antonio area.

Compensation

• $21 per hour
• 20-30 hours per week
• Potential to continue through 2027
• May qualify for academic credit
