Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate population at all times, including meals, work, visitation, and furloughs.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of inmates, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct daily inspections of housing areas.
• Record and report maintenance problems through weekly inspections.
• Conduct counts and logs as required by policy.
• Attend staff meetings when requested.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly log books and documentation.
• Clock in/out using time and attendance system.
• Speak, read, write and understand English as required.
• Promote safe and compliant operation and report safety concerns.
