Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies in Brevard, NC is seeking an Operations Technician - Machinist for 1st shift (08:00am - 04:30pm) to support finishing of materials and interpretation of customer and supplier drawings. You will use basic machining principles and read drawings, and you must employ digital and non-digital measurement tools with an emphasis on dimensional accuracy.

• In this role you must use digital and non-digital measurement tools with an emphasis on dimensional accuracy and precision

What Makes You Great

• A High School Diploma or GED is required and experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings is preferred
• Further strong analytical and technical ability is desired
• Experience working a a production / manufacturing environment is a plus
• You must have the ability to follow detailed written instructions
• In addition you must have basic computer skills
• Must be physically able to lift to 40 lbs., stand 8hrs or sit 8hrs, with or without accommodation
