Job summary

Edward Jones in St. Louis is seeking an operations professional to support trust account management, beneficiary servicing, and record keeping with a focus on accurate transaction processing and high-quality client service. Join a collaborative team that values precision and customer commitment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate operational activities that support trust account management, beneficiary servicing, account maintenance, record keeping, reporting, and transaction processing.
• Perform multiple operations functions (processing, service, reconciliation) on a team within the department based on a comprehensive understanding of the work.
• Proficient at each role, knowing how and why the work is performed, and meet regular performance standards for each role.
• Serve as a team resource, filling needs based on volume, staffing variations, and team needs.
• Participate in and/or lead special projects; assist with training; mentor/coach less skilled associates; coordinate workflow; identify and implement process improvements.
• Will require travel between North and South Campus

What you will do:

• Responsible for executing and coordinating operational activities that support trust account management, beneficiary servicing, account maintenance, record keeping, reporting, and transaction processing. Team members help ensure that trust-related activities are completed accurately while delivering a high level of service to clients and business partners.

• Responsible for performing multiple operations functions (i.e. processing, service, reconciliation) on a team within the department based on a comprehensive understanding of the work.

• Within that role, he or she must be proficient at each of the roles, knowing both how and why the work is performed, and must be able to meet regular performance standards for each role.

• Serve as a team resource, filling whatever needs exist based on volume, staffing variations, and overall team needs.

• Participate in and/or lead special projects, both inside and outside of the department, assist with the training of associates, serve as mentor/coach to less skilled associates, serve as workflow coordinator on occasion and identify as well as implement process improvements.

• Will require travel between North and South Campus

What experience you need:

• 2+ years of experience in a financial services environment required (i.e. brokerage, banking, insurance, etc.).
