The Operations Support Specialist IV provides operational, administrative, and life-cycle acquisition support to leadership within the JPM CBRN Integrated Early Warning (IEW) enterprise, including Joint Product Managers (JPdMs) and Product Support Team Leads. This role serves as the central focal point for analyzing, assigning, and routing formal staff actions and taskers across cross-functional disciplines (logistics, engineering, contracting, testing, and resource management). Acting as an operational integrator, the specialist manages MS Teams environments, directs short- and long-range calendars, leads routine executive battle rhythm events (Staff Calls, Business Meetings, All Hands), and ensures compliance with DoD acquisition policies to advance program milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquisition Life-Cycle Management: Apply DoDI 5000.02 policies across product development, production, and sustainment-drafting, reviewing, and staffing acquisition packages, white papers, risk assessments, and technical/cost/schedule reviews.

  • Tasker Analysis & Staff Action Ownership: Serve as the single Point of Contact to log, analyze, assign, track, consolidate, and finalize internal and external taskers and staffing packages, ensuring technical accuracy before submission to CPE CBRND HQ and senior leadership.

  • Executive Battle Rhythm & Communications: Lead the production, logistics, and execution of weekly Staff Calls, Business Meetings, quarterly All Hands, and distinguished visitor briefings (in-person, VTC, and web conference), capturing executive minutes and tracking follow-on actions.

  • Strategic Calendar & MS Teams Integration: Manage short- and long-range organizational calendars and serve as the organizational lead for Microsoft Teams architecture, document libraries, and electronic file archiving.

  • Cross-Functional Operations & Security: Coordinate cross-functional support across systems engineering, logistics, testing, and contracting; maintain program document trees; enforce information security/classification guidelines; and assist with facility space allocations.

Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: Active or Interim Secret Security Clearance is required.

  • Education: Four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Technical, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in acquisition life cycle activities/management within a DoD environment (DoDI 5000.02 framework), preferably supporting CPE CBRND, JPM CBRN IEW, or JPdM-level organizations.

  • Software & Systems Proficiency: Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, briefings, and communications.

  • Tasker & Process Management: Experience serving as a single POC for logging, analyzing, and consolidating cross-functional staff actions and formal taskers using DoD electronic staffing tools.

  • Executive Support: Ability to coordinate executive battle rhythm events (Staff Calls, All Hands), manage complex calendars, draft senior-level briefings, and support stakeholder interactions.
