Job summary

Eurofins USA Agroscience Services is seeking an Operations Support Lab Technician to assist with tracking and handling test materials in a regulated lab setting. Responsibilities include logging, ID creation, storage, and proper archiving, with strict adherence to SOPs and applicable regulations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with lab environment preferred.
• Ability to learn new techniques and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Track receipt, storage, use, expiration, disposal, return, and archiving of test materials.
• Receive, log, create IDs, and store materials upon receipt.
• Move materials between departments and check in/out with proper paperwork.
• Return, dispose of, or archive materials at study finalization.
• Follow SOPs and relevant regulations for quarantined matrices and samples.
• Maintain accurate, legible documentation.
• Calibrate balances and assist in unloading trucks.

Job Description

Operations Support Lab Technician responsibilities include:

• Uses appropriate software applications to track receipt, storage, use, expiration, disposal, return, and/or archiving of test materials.
• Receives, creates IDs, logs-in, and stores materials upon receipt.
• Moves or transfers materials from one department to another. Checks materials in and out as requested by study personnel. Maintains proper paperwork.
• Returns, disposes of, or archives materials at study finalization.
• Ensures all current SOPs, Good Laboratory Practices, Current Good Manufacturing Processes (CGMP), and/or relevant regulations (USDA, DOT, EPA, MDNR, OSHA, FDA, etc.) for quarantined matrices; genetically altered crops, and all materials/samples are followed.
• Maintains accurate and legible required documentation.
• Performs routine tasks for calibration of balances.
• Assists in unloading trucks and storing materials appropriately

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
