We support a broad range of Capital Markets products and services, maintaining a top-tier market presence in Fixed Income, Equity, and Syndicates.

Team/Position Overview: The Collateral Management team, part of the Margin and Collateral function in Markets Operations, operates across 5 regions. It includes oversight of collateral funding and projections supporting fixed income and equities finance desks, and an optimization middle office focused on collateral opportunities at CCPs, Tri-Party agents, and central banks. The team aims to mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver efficient collateral, inventory, and risk management.

This role will oversee NAM Operations, playing a key part in risk management, platform and process transformation, and strategic initiatives to reduce risk and enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Collateral Management & Optimization: Oversee collateral, funding, projection, and optimization processes; manage relationships; monitor risk indicators.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulations (e.g., LCR, NSFR, SEC Rule 15c3-3); collaborate with auditors; oversee regulatory obligations.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team; liaise with trading desks, treasury, risk, operations, and senior management; present updates and insights; drive automation and tech enhancements.

People & Culture: Promote diversity and inclusion, foster continuous improvement, and support talent development through coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications: BA/BS preferred; 10+ years in collateral or funding roles, with strong knowledge of margin regulations, securities, and risk; experience in large financial institutions preferred. Must have excellent communication skills, be innovative and proactive, and demonstrate sound judgment and risk management acumen.

Additional Details: Location: Jersey City, NJ. Salary range: $149,600 - $224,400. Full-time position. Anticipated closing date: May 5, 2025. Citi is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
