Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Operations Supply Chain Resiliency Manager to lead complex supply chain and operational projects across the United States. You will guide Project Managers, optimize resources, and drive risk mitigation in collaboration with operations, procurement, quality, engineering, and R&D.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading complex supply chain, operations, material, or cross-functional projects.
• Prioritizing concurrent initiatives, allocating resources, balancing workloads, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Assessing supplier and contractor relationships, schedule risk, downstream impacts, and practical mitigation actions.
• Managing project schedules, records, communications, meeting documentation, progress reporting, and stakeholder alignment.
• Using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook to plan, analyze, communicate, and monitor project work.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and work onsite when required for highly complex projects, plant meetings, and workshops.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple supply chain and material projects across the United States, applying project and program management methods to deliver customer and business requirements.
• Prioritize projects, allocate resources, distribute workloads, and lead a team of Project Managers while promoting accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Develop project timelines, detailed activity plans, documentation, progress reports, and budget summaries or reconciliations when applicable.
• Identify schedule, supplier, contractor, and downstream operational risks; develop mitigation plans and accelerate complex issues to protect project delivery.
• Coordinate procurement activities and the delivery of equipment and materials, including post-award activities and purchase order releases.
• Build alignment across plant leadership, material management, quality, strategic procurement, engineering, research and development, suppliers, contractors, and other internal or external partners.
• Use critical thinking, data, and project management platforms to resolve high-impact cross-functional problems and improve schedules, execution, and operational performance.

We are looking for an Operations Supply Chain Resiliency Manager. This position will be based at a Siemens location in Georgia, Texas, California, or South Carolina.

In this role, you will lead the execution of complex supply chain and operational projects that support strategic business objectives. You will guide a team of Project Managers, set priorities, allocate resources, balance workloads, remove roadblocks, and develop risk mitigation strategies while partnering across operations, procurement, quality, engineering, and research and development. This position allows partial remote work, with onsite presence required for highly complex project execution, plant meetings, and workshops.

You’ll make a difference with:

• Project Leadership — Lead multiple supply chain and material projects across the United States, applying project and program management methods to deliver customer and business requirements.

• Team Direction — Prioritize projects, allocate resources, distribute workloads, and lead a team of Project Managers while promoting accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

• Planning and Reporting — Develop project timelines, detailed activity plans, documentation, progress reports, and budget summaries or reconciliations when applicable.

• Risk Management — Identify schedule, supplier, contractor, and downstream operational risks; develop mitigation plans and accelerate complex issues to protect project delivery.

• Procurement Coordination — Coordinate procurement activities and the delivery of equipment and materials, including post-award activities and purchase order releases.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, project management, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience with the following:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• Experience leading and developing Project Managers or comparable project delivery professionals.

• Experience with supply chain resiliency, supplier development, strategic procurement, manufacturing operations, or engineered products.

• Proficiency with Tableau and experience using data or dashboards to support operational and project decisions.

• Experience with SAP.

• PMP or willingness to gain a PMP certification.
