Textron Specialized Vehicles seeks an Operations Management Intern for a 10-week, paid summer internship in Augusta, GA. You will assist with material planning, issue purchase orders, and support production scheduling while gaining hands-on experience in a Fortune 500 environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material planning, issue POs, expedite orders and verify delivery dates.
• New process implementation and process improvement, including developing procedures and problem analysis.
• Manage inventory and reorder point of materials based on manufacturing schedules.
• Prepare reports and communications as requested.
• Perform system data analysis, maintenance, and cleanup.
• Stage orders, create stockroom pick lists, order tools, and schedule materials.
• Utilize capacity and lead time information to ensure schedule compliance for each department.
• Analyze material demand and shortages to determine impact on schedules and capacity.
• Assist with disposition of rejected material and bottleneck analysis.
• Maintain data records and establish production schedules for an assigned work area.
