Job summary

Jerome L. Taylor Trucking, Inc. (JLT) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily solid waste and recycling collection operations across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. You will supervise drivers and helpers, coordinate routes, and partner with the Operations Manager to ensure safe and compliant service delivery.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, efficiency, and strong customer service within a fast-paced environment; CDL preferred, bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• CDL license preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.
• Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
• Process-oriented with ability to set and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily solid waste and recycling collection operations.
• Supervise drivers and helpers and collaborate with Operations/General Manager.
