Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a supervisory professional for high-volume venues in Texas. You will oversee shift operations, ensure guest safety and satisfaction, and manage bar staff during events.

A strong background in hospitality, leadership, and POS systems is required. Responsibilities include labor cost monitoring, daily pre- and post-event tasks, and inter-departmental coordination to deliver memorable experiences for attendees.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years supervisory experience in high-volume restaurant/music hall environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS systems (MICROS preferred).
  • Ability to work late hours and maintain smooth operations during events.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor labor cost and overtime during shifts.
  • Close out events accurately for accounting.
  • Maintain atmosphere, room temperature, cleanliness and safety.
  • Log nightly sales and operational issues in the Manager Log Book.
  • Communicate across departments to ensure smooth event execution.

What this role will do
  • Monitor the labor cost of the shift, paying close attention to overtime
  • Accurate accounting close‑out of special events
  • Checking accuracy of labor system at the end of the shift
  • Maintain appropriate atmosphere (lights, sound level, room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, room capacity)
  • Conduct operations with a Guest First mindset
  • Ensure all recap forms are submitted to accounting
  • Perform opening, ongoing and closing duties
  • Conduct daily pre‑shift in an upbeat and motivational manner
  • Perform daily liquor pulls for bar staff
  • Ensure all cash drawers have appropriate change
  • Log nightly sales and operational issues in Manager Log Book, either manually or online
  • Conduct safety, cleaning and maintenance walk‑through – interior and exterior of building
  • Check ticket counts with box office before shift begins
  • Check email and mailbox for current information
  • Update Contact Log at the end of the shift
  • Familiarize self with event sheets
  • Facilitate proper inter‑departmental communication and organization
What this person will bring
  • Required: (State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work late hours
  • Flexible schedule
  • 3 years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/music hall environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Point of Sales system, preferably MICROS
  • Knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulations
  • Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
  • Skilled in decision making, leadership, guest relations, interpersonal communications, organization, team building, time management, and staff management
  • Ability to motivate staff, problem solve, lead, delegate, follow up, deal with volatile situations with tact and confidence
  • Preferred: At least 2 years experience with a national restaurant chain
  • Preferred: Experience in a live music environment
  • Preferred: College diploma in related field
  • Physical Demands/Working Environment: Working environment is fast‑paced, often loud and stressful
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
