Securitas Security Services is seeking an experienced, organized, and decisive Operations Supervisor – Mobile Operations & Dispatch to support our Mobile Security Operations throughout Massachusetts as part of our Northern New England portfolio.

Based out of our Wilmington, MA office, this position serves as a key operational leader during the evening and overnight hours.

This is not a traditional security officer or field-only supervisor position. It is a hands-on operations leadership role combining employee supervision, dispatch coordination, scheduling, incident response, fleet oversight, technology monitoring, administrative responsibilities, and client service.

The Operations Supervisor will help keep a geographically dispersed mobile workforce running effectively throughout the night while serving as a primary resource for officers, field supervisors, clients, and branch leadership.

Salary: $70,000 annually

Primary Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts

Because Securitas operates 24/7, some flexibility is required for urgent operational needs, emergencies, and situations requiring supervisory support.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Evening & Overnight Operations
  • Serve as a primary operational leader during evening and overnight hours.
  • Supervise, coach, and support Mobile Field Supervisors and Mobile Security Officers.
  • Provide clear direction to employees working independently across multiple client locations.
  • Make real-time operational decisions involving staffing, service delivery, incidents, client concerns, and emergencies.
  • Promote accountability, professionalism, safety, and consistent performance across the Mobile team.
Manage Dispatch & Field Activity
  • Coordinate mobile patrol routes, dispatch activity, alarm responses, officer assignments, and emergency calls.
  • Monitor field activity and adjust resources when priorities or conditions change.
  • Ensure scheduled patrols, inspections, alarm responses, lock/unlock services, guard checks, and other client services are completed correctly and on time.
  • Respond to call-outs and staffing issues and coordinate appropriate coverage.
  • Maintain communication with mobile personnel throughout the shift.
Use Technology to Manage the Operation

This position works with multiple operational systems throughout the shift.

Responsibilities May Include Monitoring And Utilizing
  • Workforce management and scheduling systems
  • GPS and vehicle-monitoring platforms

  • Dispatch and communication platforms
  • Incident and activity reporting systems

Candidates should be comfortable learning new technology and working across several systems at the same time.

Oversee Fleet Operations
  • Maintain accountability for company patrol vehicles assigned to the Mobile operation.
  • Monitor vehicle usage, condition, inspections, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair needs.
  • Review vehicle and driver activity using company monitoring systems.
  • Address unsafe driving, vehicle concerns, and policy violations when necessary.
Support Clients & Service Quality
  • Help ensure consistent service delivery across a diverse Massachusetts client portfolio.
  • Respond professionally to client questions, concerns, and service issues.
  • Conduct field inspections, quality assurance checks, and operational reviews.
  • Investigate service failures and operational issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective action.
  • Escalate significant incidents appropriately while maintaining clear communication with branch leadership.
Maintain Accurate Operational Records
  • Review and maintain scheduling, payroll, employee, and operational documentation.
  • Prepare and review reports, incident documentation, and client communications.
  • Ensure information is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, client requirements, licensing requirements, and applicable regulations.

Education & Experience

Candidates should have a college degree and/or at least three years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Personnel or operations management
  • Security operations
  • Dispatch or communications center operations
  • Workforce scheduling
  • Law enforcement
  • Military leadership
  • Emergency response coordination
  • Transportation, logistics, or fleet operations
  • Other related operational leadership experience

Additional relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Experience

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:

  • Mobile security or multi-site operations
  • Supervising geographically dispersed employees
  • Dispatch or communications center environments
  • Multi-site scheduling and workforce management
  • Managing call-outs and emergency staffing coverage
  • Vehicle fleet management
  • GPS or vehicle-monitoring technology
  • Security cameras or remote monitoring systems

  • Overnight or 24/7 operations
  • Client-facing operational management

Direct security-industry experience is valuable, but candidates with strong transferable experience from operations, logistics, transportation, public safety, military leadership, dispatch, facilities, or other 24/7 environments are also encouraged to apply.
