Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc is hiring for a Production Scheduler to develop and manage daily production plans in a chemical manufacturing facility. You will partner with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to balance customer demand, inventory, and equipment availability while promoting safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of operations experience and is highly organized with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
4–6 years of proven experience in operations.
Knowledge of chemical distribution facility operation preferred.
SAP or ERP experience required.
Adept with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage daily production schedules to balance demand, inventory, and equipment availability.
Monitor production performance and adjust priorities while communicating across operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.
Lead shift communications and ensure safe, compliant work practices to achieve production goals.
Supervise on the production floor, coordinate operators, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support training and cross-functional collaboration.
