General Nutrition Centers, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Ecomm/Wholesale on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm) in Whitestown, IN. This role ensures distribution duties are met, supervises the area, and fosters a positive work environment to maximize productivity and morale.

You will monitor performance, plan resources, and drive initiatives for on-time materials handling while maintaining safety and quality standards across the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher in logistics or related field required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive operations experience with degree or 7+ years without degree.
• Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in PC, RF, WMS and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff performance and develop action plans to maximize productivity.
• Plan and schedule personnel, equipment, and supplies for efficient warehouse flow.

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This positionis responsible formonitoring staff to ensure all distribution duties are completed. Supervise the assigned specific operational area(s) within the warehouse to maximize productivity, employee morale, and ensure that all department service levels are achieved. The Operations IIISupervisor will support the developmentof a positive, collaborative work environment by encouraging open communication, recognizing employee contributions, and helping implement initiatives that promote employee retention and satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor employee and department performance and provide an action plan to maximize productivitywhileutilizingLabor Management System.
• Adequately plan and schedule personnel, equipment, and supplies to maximize efficient flow of materials within the warehouse
• Assistmanagement in developing, implementing, and managing financial and operational plans on a daily, weekly, and annual basis
• Hire, motivate, and train new and current employees
• Provide staff the proper materials, information, and guidance to achieve the daily goals of the department
• Ensure thetimely,accurate, and damage-free handling of materials and merchandise
• Provide safe work environment and make sure employees are handling merchandise and equipment in a safe manner to prevent injuries
• Ensure that all daily, weekly,monthlyand bi-yearly cleaning and housekeeping initiatives are successfully achieved
• Additionalduties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for supervising a team of employees.

$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 / year
