Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Texas is seeking a Sr. Operations Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead daily warehouse operations, drive safety, and ensure customer requirements are met.

You will manage a team of frontline staff, optimize KPIs, and report to site leadership with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 1+ year(s) operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role (preferred).
• 1+ year(s) logistics industry experience (preferred).
• Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maximize the performance of the site by directing daily, weekly, and monthly activities; providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the operations staff; executing against customer requirements and achieving operational performance.
• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates, providing coaching, guidance and support, fostering a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement. Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration, facilitating regular and effective dialogue among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment and teamwork.

Shift Schedule

Off‑peak season: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Peak season: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Key Responsibilities
