Alvis Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Operations Manager in Corrections.

You will supervise direct reports such as Community Reentry Specialists and Shift Leads, ensuring building management, safety and security, and compliance with contracts and policies while delivering quality services. The role requires an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least one year of supervisory experience in human services; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in human services or related field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Career Details:

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, Operations Manager in Corrections. As an Alvis Operations Manager, you will supervise and coordinate activities of direct reports (e.g., Community Reentry Specialists, Shift Leads) in the facility. Employees in this position will demonstrate leadership skills to ensure building management, operational efficiency, safety and security, consistent client engagement, and compliance with corrections/community corrections best practices. Oversee the delivery of quality services in accordance with the mission and goals of the agency and corresponding with agency/governing body policies, procedures, and contracts.

First Shift: 9:00pm - 5:00pm

Second Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Requirements

Education:

• Associate 's degree (Education and/or experience in human services or related field) is required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Experience:

• One Year of experience in a supervisory capacity (education and/or experience in human services or related field).

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
