Ohio's Electric Cooperatives is seeking a Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the plant, supervise staff, and ensure safe, reliable performance. The role involves directing control room activities, coordinating outages, and leading process troubleshooting while upholding safety policies and environmental standards.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk; sit; work with hands and fingers; push, pull, reach, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; communicate with others to exchange information; and hear.The employee must be able to operate machinery, motor vehicles, heavy equipment, and power tools. The employee must have close visual acuity to analyze data, perform inspections, and view computer monitors; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
This position requires working in hazardous conditions such as extreme heat and cold both in inside and outside environments; environments containing fumes, odors, dust, gases, and high amounts of noise and vibration. Additionally, this position requires the ability to work in close quarters, narrow passageways, at heights, on grating, platforms, scaffolding, poles, and catwalks. Work outside normal business hours may be required.
