Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead and direct quality service, safety and productivity at the Belton branch. You will work with the Branch Manager to drive results, coach staff and ensure Rental Flow efficiency while delivering world-class sales and service.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, monitor metrics, manage quotes and contracts, and foster a safety-focused culture. A strong leader with 2+ years supervision and 3+ years in sales/ops is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support all aspects of sales and customer service, including quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Maximize operational effectiveness by training staff and monitoring the Rental Flow Process.
• Handle day-to-day activities including opening/closing, cash handling and deposits.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety and discipline through leadership and accountability.
• Perform other duties as needed.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will leverage your leadership skills to coordinate and direct the overall delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity. By working closely with the Branch Manager, you will provide the supervision needed to ensure safety, branch metric performance and Rental Flow efficiency, while contributing world-class sales and customer service support.

What you'll do:

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items, determining root causes and opportunities for improvement and providing coaching and feedback to staff, making recommendations for corrective actions
• Support all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence, including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency by ensuring that staff is trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process; drive profitability by monitoring and controlling costs
• May be responsible for day-to-day operational activities including opening and closing, cash drawer reconciliation and bank deposit, and others
• Motivate, coach and train personnel
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:
