Nomura is offering a 10-week Summer Analyst Program in the United States. Analysts will interact with Nomura professionals at all levels, gain hands-on experience, and work closely with a mentor.

Roles include Client Onboarding, Transformation, Shared Services, and KYC, with exposure to front-to-back processes across Global Markets and Investment Banking. Qualifications

• Outstanding academic qualifications; strong GPA
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance)
• Graduating May/June 2028 or May/June 2029
• Applicants in the Operations Division must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Client Onboarding: coordinates onboarding of 200+ Global Markets and Investment Banking salespeople across Equities and Fixed Income.
• Transformation Team: applies structured transformation methodology, creates BRD/FRD, gap analyses and reviews, and supports reporting.
• Shared Services: oversees Settlement and Corporate Action processing with external vendors to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• KYC- Know Your Client: complete risk reviews per KYC standards and document requirements.
• Middle Office: bridge front and back office, validate trades, manage risk, reconcile P&L, and ensure regulatory compliance.
