Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Operations Specialist in the Bellevue area to support water/wastewater infrastructure projects. You will help develop manuals, review contracts for design intent, and assist with process control and commissioning tasks.

The role emphasizes collaboration with designers and field engineers, ongoing training, and ensuring safe, efficient operation across facilities within HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in plant operations.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture and inclusion.
• Must interpret engineering plans and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop facility operations manuals (hard copy or electronic).
• Review contract documents for design intent compliance.
• Support water, wastewater, and stormwater evaluations and optimization.
• Assist with P&IDs and process control strategies.
• Coordinate field services during construction and startup.
