Job summary

ExxonMobil in Midland, TX is seeking a Field Operations Tech to support data collection, processing, and reporting for well operations. You will enter data into SharePoint and multiple systems, track production metrics, code invoices, and assist with training and projects.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 4+ years oil and gas experience, and strong MS Office skills; familiarity with Wellview/Siteview, Oracle, and Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of oil and gas field operations experience.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Enter data into multiple systems including SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Code and verify Ops Invoice Tickets.
  • Track production, workover, and drilling data and prepare partner reports.
  • Coordinate new lease/well signs and maintain paper files on site.
  • Create basic presentations for meetings.
  • Assist with training and provide project support.
  • Provide backup for other Ops Tech.

What Role You Will Play On Our Team
  • Responsible for field data collection/analysis functions in their location, including but not limited to well operations data
  • LOE processing and production reporting, database management, tracking and reporting of various field activities
What You Will Do
  • Data entry into SharePoint, Excel, Siteview, Wellview, TOW, GeoForce, eVin, XSPOC, Ops Info, Works, Databasin, Oracle, PLEX, PASS, Power BI, HSE applications, SAP, Chateau and others
  • Code and verify Ops Invoice Tickets
  • Track and monitor production, workover, compression, maintenance, drilling, completion and flowback data, submit partner reports as required, code/stamp invoices/field tickets
  • Coordinate/enter new lease/well signs as needed, Maintain paper well files on site
  • Create basic presentations for meetings where needed
  • Share and organize incoming IMS documents, assessments, and focus groups
  • Assist with training/technical assistance as needed
  • Assist Supervisor/Management with various projects as needed
  • Provide backup for other Ops Tech when necessary
About You

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certification. Associate's degree preferred.
  • College degree maybe considered in lieu of experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of prior oil and gas experience, preferably as Field Operations Tech
  • Advanced computer skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
  • Advanced computer skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Prior oil and gas database experience with a working knowledge of Peloton Products (Wellview/Siteview), Oracle, Works, Databasin, TOW, Spotfire, Open Invoice preferred
  • Good communication skills with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to manage time and process oriented

  • The expected annual salary range for this position is $143,000 - $165,000. Individual pay will be determined based on various factors, which may include skills, abilities, qualifications, work experience, and education.
  • Pension Plan: Enrollment is automatic and at no cost to you. The basic benefit is a monthly annuity to be paid to you in retirement for the rest of your life.
  • Savings Plan: You can contribute between 6% and 20% of your pay and are encouraged to enroll right away. If you contribute at least 6% to your savings plan, the Company will contribute a 7% match.
